About the Author
"Kale Pani" this very romantic book was composed by Hindurhiday Samrat Swatantra Veer Savarkar. His first book "THE INDIAN WAR OF INDEPENDANCE 1857" was first published in 1909. The real name of Veer Savarkar is "Vinayak Damodar Savarkar," but due to his great work and sacrifices which he made for independace of India people started addtessing him as Swarantra Veer Savarkar. He faught very bravely in the war of independace and also went to the Andaman island for the punishment of kale pani.

This is also one of the widely translated historical composition across the most wide globe. This book describes the fact that throughout the greater of of part of the northem & north western provinces of the indian peninsula, there was a rebellion of the native races against the English power. It was not alone the sepoy who rose in revolt it was not by any mean of a merely military mutiny. It was a combination of military grievance, national hatred, and religious fanaticism against the English occupation of India. It shows Indian's patriotism towards there country. It tells us about the braven of freedom fighters of India like Magal Pandey. This book tells us the speciality of the first war of independance of India. Speciality of this book is it is the only book of written by Indians at the time when India was under the british rule. Through this book we understand the goden history of India of that time. This book is internally divided into four parts which describes different stages of that war. This book contains thrill, patriotism, bravery, fights, transformations and the beautiful description of the all. This book tells us the real and basic reason behind the first war of Independiance of India which is "Swadharma" and "Swaraj, which was neglacted by most of the history writers during describing the temporary reasons behind the war.
Language of the Book and Writing Style
Author have used very simple clear and straight forward language while composing this book. Author also have used some sanskrit words to impart the beauty of the book as this book was originally written in Marathi. Writer have has given his best while composing this book, he describes every sinfle event that much impactfully that reader can imagine that war while reading the book. This book contains total 630 pages.
My Opinion About the Book
I like this book very much, because it is packed with lot of thrill, bravery & curiosity also. And this book is my personal favourite, I would like to suggest this book to everyone who is intrested in knowing the truth. This book is also useful to all aspirants who are preparing for Civil Services examination in India.
